The AFC has announced the postponement of the match between Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr and Iran’s Thub Ahn at the end of the group stage of the AFC Champions League, which was scheduled for tonight.
“The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced that the AFC Champions League match between Iran’s Thub Khan and Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia, which is scheduled for Tuesday at the Karbala Sports Stadium in Iraq, has been postponed,” the federation said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The AFC has taken this decision with the support of all concerned parties in the safety interest, as the Federation places the security and safety of all parties in the game as a top priority. The game will now be rescheduled as soon as possible, “he said.
Ahl Ahn and Al-Nasr qualified for Group A, but the match was postponed to a later date.
